What movie did Jadakiss pick? RESULTS BELOW.
But first:
Some people love the stack.
Some people love The Stack.
And some people love The Stack so much they put it on their back:

Our long-awaited I Love The Stack hoodie, now available on the 2J3BD Shopify page!
Okay, this is Jeff talking now with some real talk, BIG difference from the rest of the newsletter — that’s why I put this in italics: I need to fix about 1000 things on the website so you can find the merch you want to get, so I’ll be doing that (hopefully) this weekend. But until then: get what you can find on the site. The next time you hit our Shopify page, hopefully it’ll be less janky.
This week we had our episode for Good Will Hunting! There were two things I loved: how adamant Sheek was that he wouldn’t miss the World Series to take a chance on a woman he’d never met, and — conversely — I loved finding out how Kiss (and Eric) is such a romantic. Who knew!
(A third thing I loved was Mayo finally sitting on the couch. Kiss shouting “I don’t even like mayo but I love Mayo!” was…incredible. That’s the only word for it.)
Styles P was unavailable but — to clear up some weird YouTube rumors??? — he didn’t quit the show, he had some other things going on in his life. What are people talking about? And I bring proof, here he is for Monday’s episode with Gov. Wes Moore of Maryland after talking about their shared love of the movie 300.
And here’s a sneak preview from Johan, after I asked if 300 was accurate to Gov. Moore’s experience in the US Army:
By the way, if anyone is going to Joe & Jada’s live event in Baltimore on Friday — where they’ll be speaking to Gov. Moore and the mayor of Baltimore, I’ll be there. Come say hi!
Okay, as I mentioned at the top of the newsletter, last week I opened up the floodgates. Jadakiss said to send him suggestions for his pick and OVER TWO HUNDRED OF YOU wrote in. The influx was so crazy I revived Douglas, my AI assistant, to categorize the films into genres. Here’s a few of the movies sent into our suggestion box:

Anyway, I didn’t ask him his process, but from your list he chose THE FIVE HEARTBEATS, the 1991 classic about a Motown-era doo-wop/R&B group that goes from losing a local Battle of the Bands to winning the world over. And, of course, all the consequences that come with that!
So, here’s our updated calendar:
300, Napoleon Dynamite and Five Heartbeats are all on Amazon, for streaming or rental.
For my pick, I thought about doing a horror movie, since it’s Halloween-ish. And then I thought about whether or not this would work: KIDS, the 1995 movie about NYC skaters doing fuck-all downtown, because so many people ask for it. But guess what? It is available nowhere — and I mean, NOWHERE — for streaming or rental. (And if you think I’m going to get Sheek to sit down and figure out how to work a DVD player, you are sorely mistaken.) So, you can stop suggesting that one for now.
I have a couple ideas for my movie pick but you could always hit our suggestion box and try to sway me. Or you could complain about KIDS not being available or whatever right here, leave a comment.
And that’s it! That’s all I got for you this week © Don Don aka Sheek Louch.
As always, you can also find us on YouTube, Spotify, Apple, Instagram, TikTok and right here, for our weekly newsletter. And while you’re here, hit up our Shopify shop to get some merch — I’ll be fixing the site this weekend, hopefully. It’s hoodie season…and it’s magnet season, too! Warm your body and your refrigerator.
And as mentioned several times above, here’s the form to suggest movies.
Usually I go through the movie suggestions box here, but with over 200 entries, that’s not happening. So I’ll just point out some of my favorite comments from there:
“Dolly is the most G in this movie” (about the movie 9 to 5, RIP Dolly) — Phoenix from NC
“The showcast is fire, the lox been dope my whole life, and the aka’s might be the greatest show intro ever done all mediums” — Supa from The Bronx
A lot of “I love the Stack”-s and “I love the showcast” and one “I love the podcast”
“I wish I felt as strongly about anything as looch feels hatred for Eternal sunshine” — Nathan from VA
“Hardball definitely needs to be a contender since it wasn’t selected for the live episode!” — Gigi from NJ
“I will not stop until The Lox and Eric and Jeff review The Warriors because now there’s no excuse cuz it’s free on Youtube. All love tho” — Tarein from OH
“Yes, Imagine The Lox doing a remake of Three Men and A Baby! I emailed this idea to Jeff once after hearing you all talk about it. I ran into Eric and Jeff at the elevator documentary debut during the Tribeca Film Fest. I meant to mention this idea to them then also. I’m trying to get it The Lox radar! LOL!” — DeVon from Seattle
“Gotta do My Girl for the culture” — Jamal from Acworth, GA
And lastly, shouts to Johannesburg, Hawaii and Senegal — we see you! Keep spreading the word, liking, sharing, subscribing…and all that! See you Monday.

Love the stack 🥞💵💻!!! Also, welcome back Douglas!!!
i like how all the time related movie titles want you to create a calendar entry.
