Last week, we had a pop-up at Lucia Alimentari, our favorite pizza place here in NYC — we recorded an episode for Goodfellas, people meeted and greeted, we sold three exclusive t-shirt designs.
And the response was so big, we decided to put those t-shirts on sale for people who couldn’t make it! So, if you live in Orlando, Atlanta, Austin or anywhere the sun hits, make sure to get your 2J3BD x Lucia tees now. (Sun’s out, guns out, as our opening song says.) Here’s the link — our t’s will show up at noon EDT.

We’re letting the ROTN (readers of the newsletter) know about the sale before anyone else — we always look out, over here. Link again, here.
Here’s the upcoming schedule:
Yesterday: Goodfellas (Live from Lucia) — on Amazon Prime or Apple to rent.
Monday: Cape Fear (Sheek) — on Amazon Prime or free on YouTube with ads.
March 23: Teen Wolf (Jadakiss) feat. Lenny S. — on Tubi, Roku or Pluto for free.
March 30: The Devil Wears Prada (Jeff) — Disney+.
April 6: Superfly (Styles) — on Amazon Prime or Apple to rent or Hoopla for free.
I just want to give props to Eric (for the vision) and Johan (for the execution) of the Goodfellas episode — we did something a little different this week, showing off the Lucia space while also giving the conversation an elevated feel.
Here’s our Mom’s review, shouts to Mox:
Check out the full episode here!
This week, I spoke to Kay Rosewood! My favorite part was when he talked about running down on a Vampire Diaries actor, but this was also really funny:
What was your experience like while shooting Honey?
It was great! Shit, I wish I had a speaking part in it, though!
(laughs) I wish that too, for you! I do. I asked Sheek and Kiss the other day if they kept anything from the set. Did you?
No. Actually, I kept some weed and got arrested at the airport after shooting that movie, that’s what I kept! (laughs)
Last week, I was really going back and forth on whether this newsletter is effective. I think the best thing it does is the schedule of upcoming movies, but largely it’s just a bunch of events most people can’t go to. So I’m wondering how to balance that out — do you want more BTS stories? Do you want more content from 2J3BD, either clips from the show or transcribed interviews conducted outside the show? What if I started using this as a way to answer some of your questions and comments?
No wrong answers, just trying to figure out what you’d like and how to deliver it.
This was a short week, so we’ve only got a few suggestions from the Google doc:

Huge news if Jada was confirmed Italian — but I hate that it’d be in the Epstein files!!! The only island Jada’s been to is Sicily.
Eric and I just watched The Housemaid, Sheek kept telling us we had to see it. I thought it had good parts but — without spoiling anything for anyone else — it sorta didn’t know what it wanted to be. I’m prob in the minority, though. Glad you loved it though! Unrelated, Styles was talking about Cast Away recently — rewatched that and it would make for a great (!) episode. A lot of unresolved issues!
This wasn’t exactly what the person from Boston asked — we often get comments, asking us to do TV shows. We’ve done a few in the past: Game of Thrones, True Story, maybe there was a third. But the issue always is that it’s hard to find the time to watch a full season — we’re talking 10 hours versus 2 or 3. But to your specific question, I think that’s a dope conversation to be had, I just don’t think it’s right for our show.
Judas & The Black Messiah was great; He Got Game would make a good episode. We haven’t done any Spike Lee, have we? We did the Do The Right Thing segment in Brooklyn, but not a full episode, if I’m correct. Sort-of related: this is what I’m currently reading, and it talks about the chaos of the late 80s in NYC: Ed Koch, Donald Trump, Roy Cohn, the Howard Beach killing and Spike Lee.
We were supposed to do Drink Champs a little while ago, all of us — but maybe we bring that up again. It’s more a scheduling thing than anything.

On next Monday’s Cape Fear episode, we’re getting the first two segments of Therapist Louch! Thanks to everyone who wrote in. You guys are not ready for what Sheek thinks a therapist looks like.
That’s it for this week! As always, you can find us on YouTube, Spotify, Apple, Instagram, TikTok and right here, for our weekly newsletter. Also, here’s our merch shop and Google doc.
Come to our live show on April 16 in Brooklyn. Tickets will sell out, don’t say I didn’t warn you. Let go, let God, as we always say.

I just ordered 2 t's!
pumped for therapist louch!!!!
