New Episode Monday!
Our long national nightmare is over!
We recorded two new episodes on Wednesday — Carlito’s Way and 48 Hrs. — so we are back to business, baby!!! It is crazy that we hadn’t sat down and hung out since the Knicks won, a month ago. Things came up, people were out of town, life happens. Honestly, now that I think about it, Styles never knows his schedule, so let’s just be glad that we get any episodes at all.
Next week, we’ll be doing a poll where you — yes, you! — will select what movie we’ll be discussing at our live show! Make sure to open the newsletter next Thursday and participate!

In the meantime, Eric, Kiss, Sheek and I are all headed to the Jay-Z show tonight (and Eric and I are going back tomorrow night) (I didn’t think I’d be feeling such FOMO for the third show but if you have an extra ticket or want to contribute to my GoFundMe, it’d be appreciated). In case you were wondering, Styles thought he would be joining us at Yankee Stadium tonight, but Eric and I reminded him that he’d literally just posted about plans he has on Instagram, three states away.

That’s sorta it for this week. Well, one last thing: for a long time, I made it so that you could suggest movies here — we’ve gotten over 600 submissions so far, things were going swimmingly. But at the end of June, I made a change, saying that whatever movies you suggest should be streaming — you know, so maybe it’d be helpful for others who want to watch. And immediately just about everyone pretty much stopped writing in. So, I’m here to apologize and make amends and go back to the way we were doing things before: I took away the requirement, I made it easier to write but harder to watch — ultimately, the trade-off is that you’re heard which is a good thing.
