Click here for a VERY quick update!

First of all, thanks for opening this email today — two days ahead of the holiday, I’d forgive you for just chucking your phone at the wall and picking it up on Monday. But you didn’t, and that’s the mark of a good, sane person.

I’ll keep this brief today. Tickets are moving fast on our 8/13 show, tables are filling up, make sure to get yours soon — every show we’ve done has sold out, so: better to get them early. Go to the City Winery website and search for 2J3BD or, better yet, here’s the ticket link. If you want more info on what past shows have been like, here’s last week’s newsletter where I go into all that.

And — I’ve got great news. After this week’s best-of episode…

and a second best-of episode coming Monday…

…we’ve got BRAND NEW EPISODES on the way.

We’re finally recording Carlito’s Way and 48 Hrs. on Wednesday. Here’s the updated schedule — after a couple weeks of hiccups, we are so back, baby!

Carlito’s Way is on Amazon, 48 Hrs. and Pretty Woman are on Netflix.

That’s about it for this week! As always, you can also find us on YouTube, Spotify, Apple, Instagram, TikTok and right here, for our weekly newsletter. But before we go: Keep sending in ideas to our suggestion box!

Last week, I mandated that movie suggestions be on streaming — so without further ado, here’s what people are saying:

Amazon: People Under the Stairs, Ghost Dad, Beavis & Butthead Do America, 300, Austin Powers, Hail Mary

HBO: Spinal Tap, Midsommar,

Paramount: Beavis & Butthead Do America

Peacock: The Killer
