Last night, after recording our (really funny) Good Will Hunting episode, I asked Jadakiss which movie he’d like to review in a few weeks — so I could update the newsletter. And he said, “Send me some Stack picks, like last time.” (You all have previously helped Kiss in choosing The Town, 48 Hrs and T2: Judgment Day.) So, we’re once again turning to you all for help, Styles be damned!

ALSO: Kiss said he wanted me to interview him for the Stack, like I used to do with Max B, Jae’won, Taylor Rooks, Lenny S and so many others. So! Keep your eyes peeled for that.
Someone just commented on YouTube, saying “Just once can you tell us what movies are coming up, so we can watch it before the episode drops?” Brother, I’m here for you — every single week. I will never leave you hanging, when it comes to that.
Good Will Hunting is streaming on Pluto for free (!!!), 300 is on Paramount and Hulu and Napoleon Dynamite is on Amazon Prime.
Monday is a big day for Mayo! While not his first time on the show, this is his first time on the couch. For those who don’t know, Mayo is the fourth Rosenthal brother, our lifelong best friend — and he does all the music for 2J3BD and ItsTheReal. He also loves movies more than anyone I know besides Styles. So, it makes sense that (with Styles not around for Good Will Hunting) Greg sits in his spot.
And then, the following Monday, we’re making up for his absence with DOUBLE THE STYLES.
The Internet has long said Governor Wes Moore from Maryland looks like SP. We’ll see how much they think alike, too, as we sit down to discuss 300.
And then, Sheek decided last night we’re watching Napoleon Dynamite! I’m psyched! I told Louch that was one of my ideas, too, for an upcoming pick — to which he responded, “CAP.” You’re right, nevermind, my bad.
I recently became a member of some arthouse movie houses here in NYC (Lincoln Center and Film Forum), and wanted to pass along this 1964 Japanese horror film I’d never heard of but which looks incredibly dope. They just upgraded it to 4K and it’s gonna be in theatres this upcoming week, for just one week. Guillermo Del Toro and Ari Aster both say it’s the most beautiful and well-written horror film ever:
And I’m also super excited to see this documentary from John Wilson, called The History of Concrete. And that’ll be in AMC, Regal and other places September 18:
And that’s it! That’s all I got for you this week © Don Don aka Sheek Louch.
As always, you can also find us on YouTube, Spotify, Apple, Instagram, TikTok and right here, for our weekly newsletter. Hit up our Shopify shop to get some merch — we have stickers and magnets now! And we’ll see you in a couple of weeks.
Until then, here’s the form to suggest movies. Jadakiss is waiting for your picks!
From this past week, we’ve got a few from London to Savannah. Michael would be interesting. Eric and I saw it with Sheek and his wife — and there was definitely a divide on how and how much we each enjoyed it. It could make for a really compelling episode. There’s a lot of movies on here I have as blind spots (The Spook Who Sat by the Door, Romeo & Juliet, JFK, Who’s the Man, The Thing) so I’m gonna be doing some catch up over the next few weeks. Also, Tom Hanks’ Big would be insane, and we would get to talk about how it was shot at Rye Playland. So, maybe! And there is zero chance we’re doing Heavyweights 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

My short list of suggestions is… Cooley High, Pootie Tang, Island of Dr. Moreau or 21 Jump St. Lemme get one Boom from here, please (not sure, but pause anyway). Keep up the good work fellas! Luv da stack!
