Last week, I did a giveaway for two VIP tickets, thanks to Mayor — I got 46 responses, and after spinning the wheel 45 times, the winner was: Rhyan from Philly! Shouts to her, looking forward to seeing you and a friend at the show!
Thanks to everyone who sent in R&B links — it put me in a Donnell Jones mood. So, via Ross, here’s “Shorty (Got Her Eyes On Me).”
🚨🚨🚨 I have two more VIP tickets. If you want a chance at them, email therapist.louch@gmail.com with any issue in your life that needs solving. 🚨🚨🚨

It could be big, it could be small, it could be anonymous. Sheek is an expert at navigating all types of issues — whether they’re in the workplace, the bedroom or with your neighbor’s dog. Allow Therapist Louch to work his magic!
Same deal for the giveaway as last time: randomized winner, one entry per person. I’ll let everyone know next week so you can get your affairs in order.

Here’s the upcoming calendar for our episodes:
This week: Teen Wolf (Jadakiss) feat. Lenny S. — on Tubi, Roku or Pluto for free.
Monday: The Devil Wears Prada (Jeff) — on Disney+.
April 6: Superfly (Styles) — on Amazon Prime or Apple to rent or Hoopla for free.
April 13: Out of Sight (Eric) — on Amazon Prime or Apple to rent.
April 16: OUR LIVE SHOW: The Breakfast Club — on Amazon streaming.
April 20: Pineapple Express (Sheek) — on Netflix.
You heard it here, first! We’re doing The Breakfast Club, the peak 80s movie where a bunch of snotty teenagers thrown together in detention really taught us all something about ourselves in an essay they forced the nerd to write. Get your tickets now!
Meanwhile, this week, we did Teen Wolf — and people are saying it’s the funniest one in a while. Between Styles (as an opposing team’s dad) wanting to hunt down Scotty after he turns into a wolf mid-basketball game, Lenny S. showing off his Halloween costume, Sheek wondering if Teen Wolf had a dog dick and me correctly identifying him as a Teen Sloth, it’s one for the ages.
On the paid side of the newsletter, I did a two-part interview with the illustrious Phonte — the Little Brother rapper, longtime co-host of Questlove Supreme and one of the funniest people I know. In an hour-long convo, he had us talking about the greatness/badness of Rudy Ray Moore, the power of Bugonia, how Shawshank is always on TV and what it means to make a documentary about yourself. It’s so so so good. And! I have Freeway coming up this Monday.
A few weeks ago, I talked about how Kiss hits Eric not every day but all the time, asking what movies he should watch on his plane rides. (Honestly, pretty high success rate so far!) More recently, Eric has also assumed the role of Kiss’ go-to when it comes to sneaker drops. For instance, Eric was up editing at 5:45am a couple of weeks ago and got an email from Patta’s mailing list that their new Air Max would be dropped at 6am — and, knowing Kiss would want them, Eric pulled out his credit card, beat the bots and bought them both pairs.
Reader, you have never ever ever seen anyone more excited than Jada when Eric presented him with the box. He legit (!!!) was skipping across the studio, hands full, a giddy fucking kid on Christmas — it instantly boosted his mood after we’d just recorded two very long episodes (immediately after he’d already done two episodes of Joe & Jada). It’s so funny, because — with all these guys — the smallest things really move them. It’s also cool to see our internal relationships evolve: Styles and I are playing word games; Sheek sends us things he wants us to watch; Kiss and Eric are figuring out their next purchases over text. Just crazy.
That’s it for this week! As always, you can find us on YouTube, Spotify, Apple, Instagram, TikTok and right here, for our weekly newsletter. Also, here’s our merch shop and Google doc.
Come to our live show on April 16 in Brooklyn. Tickets will sell out, don’t say I didn’t warn you. Let go, let God, as we always say.
Here’s what people have sent in to the Google doc as suggestions for this week:
It’s funny that someone said “This showcast lacks a review of a Seagal film” (which it does). In between taping the Devil Wears Prada and Superfly episodes a couple nights ago, Kiss was super animated, talking about how — after reading (fake) reports of Chuck Norris’ funeral — he saw a photo of who showed up, and it was every action star ever, a real who’s who of American red-blooded males (and Arnold, Dolph, Mel, Jackie and Jet):
I don’t think the funeral’s taken place yet, but Kiss is….um…susceptible to AI news and videos. (If you follow his IG, he regularly posts Stories of babies talking in 70s jive.) This thing has 110k likes on Instagram. Chat, we are cooked. Not that he’d ever be invited but I don’t think Seagal even could be there, though…he’s not allowed back in the US, right? In any case, RIP Chuck and hope Russia is chill, Steven.
